Alyssa Jamison

Bio:

Alyssa Jamison is a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota, where she studied dance. She has had a passion for performing from a young age, when she began dancing at the Degnan Dance Studio and singing in her church choir in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Since then, her love of movement, music, and performing has grown and evolved into a love for teaching and choreographing. In high school, she taught and danced at Turning Point Dance Academy and Dance Dynamics in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She also attended Carnegie Mellon and Interlochen Center for Art's Summer Musical Theatre Programs. Jamison toured throughout the Midwest with the National Catholic Youth Choir in 2009, as well as, the Kids from Wisconsin (Official Music Ambassadors of Wisconsin) for two summers. Currently, Jamison works as a dancer/singer in Belladiva, a well-known band in the Twin Cities that has opened for Joan Rivers, as well as America's Got Talent. She is a dancer/singer/choreographer at Valleyfair Amusement Park where she has worked for the past two years. Outside of performing, Jamison enjoys running, reading, hanging out with her two dogs, and doing yoga. She is currently a certified yoga sculpt instructor, as well as a sales associate at Urban Outfitters, a server at Byerlys Minnesota Grille, and a nanny with College Nannies and Tutors.
